In one year my team produced 8 award wins, including Fast Company’s “Innovation By Design.” Our nomination competed against 4,300 entries and was recognized alongside NASA and Uber. Winning business awards increases company credibility with a third-party endorsement of your product and services. Additionally, awards are rocket fuel for employee morale when they see their hard work recognized.
With an eye on building our brand, my team generated buzz by securing positive media coverage with top tier, business, tech and transportation media. Earned media coverage allows us to reach our target audience, build credibility and create leads for our sales pipeline. Here are a few publications in which we secured ink, landing more than 9.9 billion impressions.
Landing our thought leaders on conference stages and virtual events is a high priority of mine as it builds brand credibility, generates sales leads and gives value back to the industry. Keeping an eye on meaningful trends, we have become very strategic with our event pitching. As a result, my team won 25 speaking abstracts in the past year. Additionally, we launched an initiative to secure a roster of diverse company talent to ensure underrepresented voices are heard at industry events.
